I can at least give you a pretty good idea what a well done '69 Dart wide body would look like...

ever have one of those crappy days when it seems like you just cant catch a snack

One of the dalmatians that we had as a kid was a great catcher...

She would track a fly for 5-10 minutes, then jump up to 4 feet off the ground and catch it and eat it... She was good...

Once when I was 5, mom was buttoning the hood on my winter coat and it popped off in front of the Dalmatian. She caught it and immediately swallowed it before it could hit the ground...

She was a great fence jumper, she could climb over an 8 foot chain link fence...

The one that I have now is a pretty good catcher... He only misses once in a while...

I like it. My idea is to move the rear quarters out just .75 in per side. This would allow me to correct for the inbalance between the front and rear track widths. If I do it right, which would be to basically cut the top of the panel and move it out .75 inches and weld it back in without messing around with flaring the wheelwell openings

that's quite a diet - 2800lb big block huh?
70 dart
RB--alum heads / 727 / 8.75 rear
8 point cage
frame connectors
plastic seats
glass hood and bumpers
weld wheels
no back seat
SS springs
heater motor still in there
12 gallon fuel cell --with about 3 gallons of fuel
weight = 3060 lbs

Eh.. I didn't figure on cage weight but I'll be around that weight.

Also I have shaved over 100 lbs out of the front in my suspension as well.

eh you know, it's more about set up - traction - reaction time.. we can bench race 'em 'til we're blue in the face.. build it, bring it

Yep. Only 4 things left on my list for this year:

New dash pad
diagnose and repair vacuum HVAC controls
Replace the radio with a new am/fm (modern electronics) OEM looking thumbwheel one
Install my new dash bezels.

I might do the SS rear springs in the Fall too, depending on how finances go.
