Are you talking the 65 a-body with the floor shifter and cable controlled trans??? It just occurred to me when I reread your post... I'm not sure, I don't have a 65 with a floor shifter... That was a one year only option...

Nope, 71 Duster 440/727 Hurst Promatic 2 shifter. just put the seats in and as I'm setting up the shifter want to make sure I get the cable exiting the car correctly. I'm thinking it should exit in front of the crossmember.

Ya, I have the destructions. They cover where to put the hole after its mounted. It basically say to put the shifter where you want it, Mark the mounting holes and drill 9/32 holes and bolt it down. No reference to crossmember. Very generic.

So I decided to do the swap on the rear ends. Assuming my math is correct, going to a 4.10 will put me at 2k at 70 mph. With my 6 spd. A 3.23 would put that down to about 1500....

I am amazed how they made a burrito supreme. It upsets me that they charge so much for a burrito supreme ....it's $2.99 and yet you get a Burrito supreme in a craving box for 5 bucks. The craving box is the way to go dollar-wise but the downside is it comes with too much because there is no way I can eat all that. So I end up wasting food which I don't like doing, but its enough to last me a couple days when all I wanted was a burrito supreme that is over priced.
$2.19 for a made burrito supreme is more appealing

dang, I feel so lucky today.
had a local guy stop by said he is cleaning out his garage and there are some parts from his old race car and he knows I like old dodge stuff.
He says, come with me now and I will give a ride to my garage and you can tell me if you want to mess with any of it and I will bring you back.
so I go with him and we get there and first thing my eye goes to is a pair of HP manifolds. ....(now that I am home the casting numbers decode to 70 HP manifolds)
I got the manifolds and an armload of free stuff and he brought me back home but tomorrow I get to go back with my truck and load up free junk .....wonderful free mopar junk YAY!!!
