Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just took a few pics of The Fury, my insurance company needs them for the "agreed value" I asked for if something happens to it. Tomorrow I'll start cleaning the interior since we're getting a little break in the heat here. Gojo hand cleaner gets good reviews for cleaning vinyl. And clean the whitewalls, the tires were bought new in May; I don't know how they got so dirty looking. Simple Green is what people recommend since other products can harm the rubber and I don't want it to start cracking later.

By the way the kick panels are in the trunk, one is fine, the other has been poorly cut out for a speaker but it's still usable.

nice Dave!!! white wall or white letters on a tire - Soft Scrub and a finger nail brush..

Oh, one project that should be a learning curve is to fix the windows. They have a pretty steep curve and all of them have something busted in the mechanism. I went to crack a rear window and boom it went almost all the way down. I learned a trick from a friend, two suction dent-pullers applied to the inside glass and resting on the window sill. At first they wouldn't stay but then I cleaned them well and they are holding. Not pretty but they hold the window up so rain and critters stay out.

definitely get an FSM if you can - the window mechanisms in these things are goofy -- hopefully they are just off the tracks..

Cool...thanks, Mike. That stuff is great to use around the house too so I'll get some and kill two birds with one stone.

I know!! The Fury is 17' 11" long! I have to be careful of the long hood when I'm turning in tight spaces. I like it though, I remember as a little kid watching Perry Mason reruns I thought those big cars were so cool when they would have to turn around real fast...

Yeah, my old truck had a giant cattle pusher bumper on it, it measured 21 ft 6 in, stuck out over 18 inches out front. hated busy parking lots

I had no idea what color they were...
how could you not.... the advertising for them is EVERYWHERE, hell they even sell them next to the cash register at my local gas stations.

oh the stories I could tell you all about an experience with co-ed military barracks....... nsfw though
