I'm actually in the summer house now with my daughter. We're shooting a short film the next four days. It's going to be a lot of fun and my daughter is really excited. There are only three parts, really, and a buddy of mine wrote the script and will be directing.
It's about the mess we're leaving our kids in. Hopefully it'll be accepted at some festival.

Before I left I did rip my heater box out. It's pretty worn and cracked. I think I can sort it out, though. I need new cables and a clip that holds one of them. The clips I got from Mitch sure will come in handy, though!

The Montesouri school in Detroit never heard of lefty scissors... I asked them how you can teach pre school without knowing about left handed scissors.

Luckily another one opened up a little later and we transferred our son to that one...

We had them for my brother when we were kids, as he couldn't use right handed scissors. I knew that I couldn't use the green handled ones that said "Lefty" as they wouldn't work for me...

We also learned that we could only sit on one side of each other at dinner in booths as if we didn't we kept bumping arms while eating. Our favored arm has to be on the outside, not inside...

No salsa, it's enough work for the rest of it.... Plus I can't find a large container of it locally...

We have almost used up a 5lb bag of shredded cheese since this weekend...
