Did a emergency Hitch repair on the side of the road, 20 min weld, No protection of any kind. Boy did I pay for that! Just sunglasses! :lol::BangHead:
Got burned to a crisp. Not fun. BUT I got him down the road.

I was seeing "stars" for a few days...and my eyes HURT - ended up being more like 15 spot welds rather than the 5 or 6 I was anticipating...

Mine started out as 'just a couple tacks' to hold it together.. 30 minutes later I was sporting a nice sunburn and chicken pox!
 
Ahhh... Completion... Well... Except for the Roofing... I did some work on my Roofing

yep, I disputed some charges they hit me with that I never authorized back in September, paypal wouldnt do anything so I disputed them with the bank, I won, or so I thought. Log in today, my account is suspended due to that.

Wow feels like I've gone longer than a day and a half. Good timing because this morning Dad and I were having breakfast and the doctor came in and said, you're getting out of the hospital today. Right now he's having dinner at his new place, the nurse called. The meds seem to be working, he's very calm and composed, we're praying he stays that way!

It's very nice countryside on the way to south Georgia from here.

That's good news David!

My Dad has been having issues with falls lately and has been transported to the hospital after a fall 5 times in the last 10 days. He was taken on Friday and then again last night at midnight. Fortunately all he has done is given himself a few bumps and contusions, nothing serious. He insists on trucking around like he's a fully capable 20 year old and gets himself into bad situations that cause a fall. Two of these falls were from him trying to step over things on the floor instead of going around. One was a small tool box on the floor along the wall.

We can't strap him in a wheelchair or bind him to a walker, so the best we can do is hold our breath and hope he don't hurt himself before his natural ability to get around diminishes. It's either that or wrap him in bubble wrap from head to toe.
 
My mom kept tipping over until she broke her leg. While she was mending from all the rods, screws, and pins, she fell down again and broke her other leg. Same injury. Back to the nursing home she went and there she stayed. She barely walks with a walker and someone is always there to help. Getting old ain't for sissies. LOL I'm not looking forward to it.
 
you don't want to hear my full slant on getting old -- I was so active and athletic when I was younger, the idea of needing help to hit the john... :mad:U
