Stop in for a cup of coffee

I was hoping more for something like this, a few years ago.....

While this mornings conversation has not been without inaniloquent moments, no amount of lamprophony will overcome ones inability to pay attention.
yet there are times when the cacophony of competing opines and subject matters does tend to overwhelm

Gonna dig into this 800 DP and quick clean it, and replace the seats and pumps, put it back on the car so I can hear it run for a while..

Cleaned things up and no change. Really nothing looked too corroded. I swatted a mosquito and broke off the mount for the vent control. So I'm stopping for today before I break anything else.:BangHead:

I would say run a power lead off of the battery and see if/what lights up next...

Do you have a meter? (VOM/continuity tester). I would have to study the schematic a bit, but from what you said so far I would be looking at the switch. Really need to follow the circuit and test. Most of the circuits get their ground near the bulb, so if front and back are both out it is more likely a hot side issue. Also if it is an 1157 and works on one function and not the other, the ground is fine.

did you expect him to say anything else?? (that's how he HAS to answer)
true true. i do save backups, the problem is he's removing them out of the published software, so I have to republish them, which takes time to convert them. no way to save them after being converted.
