Stop in for a cup of coffee

i'll have to get some pics over the weekend.

i was just doing some research on them, curb weight on this particular model is 3148. Not much different than an A body. this is a 64 4 door polara, its a rust bucket, bad. very bad. I'm getting it really cheap and really dont even want it but my buddy is hurting for money in a bad way and this is the only way he'll accept the money to help get him by.

anyway,
64 polara
318 poly/ push button trans
4 door

complete car just been sitting in clay for probably 20 years.
Same as my very first car.. Very cool..

Chris if it is really bad there are always guys looking for parts.
ehh i thought about that but I dont wanna do that. not many 64s around and not many 4 doors. Plus with the dart going more and more radical by the day, i might just roadkill this into a safe, fun little cruiser, ratrod type deal but not a high dollar full resto.

A girlfriend's dad had a 4 dr back in early '80's.. Had slots on it with white lettered tires. Was a really cool car, but back then we didn't pay ANY attention to a 4 dr.. Looked something like this.

I know this is sick but I am looking at most 4 doors as parts cars except the POP!

tapered 8.75?
Change made in 65.. Pre 65's have a nut that holds the drum on the rear, to the tapered end axle shaft. On 65 they changed to what you are more familiar with. Axle flanges at the end of the axle where the drum mounts..
