Stop in for a cup of coffee

so I was having a long discussion with a local guy I know, about my favorite topic ...MOPARS

Something came up in the conversation and I thought it interesting.

The topic of the welded washer on the 340 K - frame came up.

it would make sense that it was done for the benefit of the worker in the pit, below the car.

Really, is there much difference between a 318 and a 340 as seen from under the car? I think they were even the same color most of the time.

The difference as seen from underneath might mean different suspension parts??

my 72 demon with a mismatched 71 fender ( like who does that)

some people should have their hands zip tied to prevent them from working on cars

it was the engineers thinking about the power differences and the potential abuse of the 340 cars compared to the 318 cars, in my opinion, otherwise, they weigh the same

now my 72 with a mismatched 72 fender to be complete as a 72 ( its not aligned yet and I deliberately left the gap wider to avoid the worn hinged door)

they cut the connector off .....because it was the WRONG fender to begin with.

again ...some people and their kids

only disappointment is the 71 fender has an extension that is rougher than I thought.

the studs are broken and its bolted on with some weird bolts and a chunk of fiberglass is missing and it seems warped.

the fender looks bad too but we will find out the true test is the aircraft stripper ....possible today if I have time
