Stop in for a cup of coffee

One more post. I am so proud of these guys. Customers first and they became friends. I stop by Stoner's Speed Shop on Tuesdays, sell them tools and hang out with the guys. Except for Blake's dad and Joel from Boss Custom Interiors, the guys are all in their 20's and do great work. This truck was built over the last month and is hauling in the awards at SEMA. https://theblock.com/news/2016-sema-feature-car-stoner-s-speed-shop-49-chevy-pickup

DAMN - THAT IS COOL!!!

There's 2 compressors and a air supply tank. All 4 corners are supported with air bags instead of springs. With height sensors, a control on the dash and a key fob controller, you can adjust the ride height for the front, rear , or both.

I like the interior of the truck.

The style and color suit it very well. :thumbsup:
Rani, Last truck they did. Joel is a award winning upholsterer. (previous truck)

How does that work and what happens if they deflate while driving?
there's a check valve, short of a bag blowing out(very rare), they'll be fine. they simply deflate the bags with a switch when they get stopped.

I pulled the AC relay and got a very small amount of barely warm air. Even on defrost there is still no warmth. I cut into the heater box behind the glove box with a dremel and can see the blend door opening and closing when I turn the control from AC to heat, but still no heat. I have looked and looked under the dash and under the hood for any type of control cable that would switch the AC to heat and I cannot find anything. Is this vacuumed controlled?????

Before and after. This one had been repainted at one time and was in good shape. The last photo is what many of his trucks look like. (Blake and Bob in the photo)

Rainy's tags are safe from me. I only collect three types of fender tags;

Those still on my own cars.

The ones people send in from cars they used to own that were sold with out their tags, these get listed in the 'found' section of HH.

From cars that are dead & not coming back, like these;

Old photo, but you get the idea. Count should be close to or over 1600 fender tags now, all from dead cars.

Looked online... seems you do not have a control valve. Should be heat in/flow through core all the time. Only controlled by blend door.

I know you flushed out the heater core. But if you drain it and take the hoses off and fill the core with radiator flush I think you will find it plugged. It allows water to flow through but it is mostly plugged and only a main flow through is happening and not going through the core. I had the same problem

Quick response and back to work,I checking in later:
Pens and pencils can get trapped between the blend door allowing it to not close fully.You might want to look at the blend door motor and see if it moves freely. I have seen a lot of these blend doors that are cracked and the motor cant move the door all the way hot or cold. Listen for a popping sound when adjusting the temp. This could be that the door is cracked. I would just remove the actuator and see if you can move the door from stop to stop.The door has a stick stick out of case and blend door actuator moves it back and forth ,try moving back and forth and you can hear thump when it hit either way fully then it is sealing fine...Still thing your blend door is broke though....
You can also get it to temp and feel inlet hose to heater core to see if it gets hot,then you know nothing wrong with the coolant system.Now feel outlet it should be same temp as inlet if not heater core is plugged...
