Insensitive Bastids!! The guys made fun of me for bringing food to work in my lunchbox (again).. I think they're just jealous that they don't have a cool lunchbox!

Good morning, looking forward to seeing the pics from the diner get-together. It's always good to meet members in person. And as one gets older, it is harder to make new friends so we are truly fortunate.

Gonna be a long shift tonight, this thing called Weekend Of Jazz brings out a different crowd, most do not have the big bucks. They all came at once, many large parties, management should know our kitchen would fail. I had a group of 12, their got their whole dinner for free because they waited so long. Meanwhile they make us study and take tests, we can't say "um" or "OK" or use sentence fragments. Let's remember the #1 thing people want is their friggin food!

About the same, thanks for asking. Mom is rehabbing from the heart attack, she goes in for the heart valve replacement on Wednesday. Then, God willing, she'll be able to get her strength back and move back home.
 
hey, make some time to get out in the garage and turn those wrenches... if nothing else, it's super therapy!! DON'T let that engine sit for too long!

Positive thoughts and prayers for everyone, Mark, it's not fun when the folks have major health issues. I bet the new valve gets your Mom feeling much better than before.
