needs a resto ...which I might do. 1994 Sears, actually a re-labeled Noma mower, re-badged as a Craftsman for sale in the USA.

VERY hard to find parts for.

It doesn't have an adjustable seat like the newer ones so I might need pedal extensions

Those things had like a 5:13 rear gear to turn those big tires.
I don't know about the gear ratio but you put it in High range and all out you better hold on. I call mine speedy....about 28 mph! And the nicest mowing job I have ever seen.

sweet!! I would love to sandblast that and restore it...is that handle wooded?? if it is that would be something to upgrade to steel
It will get done. Haven't decided if I will go full resto or clean and clearcoat, but the original wood handle stays!

depends if you plan to use it. If you don't plan to use it much after resto then an over restored show piece might be something to consider.

if you are going to use it for many more miles, then a "spruce up" and tune up might be the thing to do

lol, no, I do not plan to use it. Maybe an occasional test drive to show it works. Which it does - in current condition.

That add is from 1907. I have not researched every detail, but it believe it is the Model shown on bottom or very close. I forget what width I have, think the smaller.

The engine in that one threw a rod, but I do have a 318..........

It was a fantabulous day today, 70° sunny and warm. I slept late and then spent the rest of the day driving the GTS all over the County. I think I put over 100 miles on her.

I drove with the windows open enjoying the day while listening to the sweet sounds of the drivetrain until the sun got low in the sky. Then I stopped to pick up some beverages for the evening...

After that, I drove up to the top of the ridge near my house and enjoyed the sunset on this last warm day of the year...

After the sun set, I took her back home and parked back in the garage again...likely for the rest of the Winter. It has been a great year of working on her and it was a perfect way to close it out.

Now, just 3 hours later, it's 42° and dropping fast with 40 mph winds and heavy sleet. I am sitting here in the garage with a beer in hand listening to the sleet bounce off the windows while the wind howls...and still enjoying the warmth of the GTS as she slowly cools off from the day of cruising keeping the temperature in here at a nice 70°.
