Cool running's?
They've been in a lot of crap too!
for some reason I feel like I remember you saying you are Swedish...?? Many cultures are well known for being stoic when it comes to grief (and most emotional responses) -- and those that weren't "that way" learned it to some degree during the depression.. I have dealt with many "older folks" who seem unemotional - it is their coping mechanism.Hey Mike, I'm doing ok, at least I think so! My Dad's family going back as far as we know didn't express their emotions, they just soldiered on through the great depression and even with my Dad being the first college graduate I don't think they made a fuss about that. All my siblings get along, besides my sister and me, our two sisters my Dad adopted and our brother from his second marriage. Dad didn't have any money so that eliminates the main thing children fight about. The gathering at the airport Dec 4 is coming together, it will be a celebration with food and music.
I prefer to just call it SSY. I like mine without the P U....you said pussy...

speaking of that - the wife left you home for the long weekend? refused to go to the in-laws did ya?I prefer to just call it SSY. I like mine without the P U....
No In-laws left. She's seeing kids and grandkids. They'll all be here at Christmas. Once a year is plenty of that crap for me.speaking of that - the wife left you home for the long weekend? refused to go to the in-laws did ya?
wait - so Florida was WHY? to get away from it or to get away with it? (Florida doesn't have the greatest reputation..)No Swedish, but German, rumor has it descended from a Hessian brought over to fight then served a sentence as an indentured servant. My great-great Grandpa was a cabinet maker who abandoned his family. Lots of alcoholism and wife-beating stories. No wonder my Dad moved to Florida to raise his family!

ah ok - you can see how that could have been interpreted either way...Dad was a bright engineer, fresh out of college, he had a job opportunity in Sarasota in 1960. To my Mom and him, at that time, it was like paradise compared to the cold north. My grandparents moved down too and they loved it. The alcoholics and wife beaters stayed up north lol.
I damn sure ain't going up north then. Too much competition!!Dad was a bright engineer, fresh out of college, he had a job opportunity in Sarasota in 1960. To my Mom and him, at that time, it was like paradise compared to the cold north. With the space program and the warm climate, I don't think it had such a bad reputation then. My grandparents moved down too and they loved it. The alcoholics and wife beaters stayed up north lol.
I can see that being a buzz kill for them..And I doubt her boyfriend wanted me tagging along!!!
Definitely on Putins hit list that's how I found out about them. They've been in a lot of crap too!
