Game over

28 to 7 .....colts are getting spanked....as they say.

Little colts dont run good till they become big Broncos

It has taken me all day to be able to post this. This in my brother-in-law with the late stage liver cancer. He came over for Thanksgiving dinner for what is likely the last time in his life. His cancer has progressed so far that they can't even do chemo anymore. He spent the last 4 days in the hospital with gall stones but they won't operate since he is too far compromised to survive it. His only remaining chance is to get the liver transplant he has been waiting for...but he only has about 60 days to get it or he will no longer be eligible to get one.

Remember what you are thankful for this day, because this guy is only thankful that he has this day...

Great that you guys are there for him. prayers sent.

Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. He called tonight after my wife took him home and just wanted to say that his cat enjoyed some of the leftover turkey we sent him home with.

The guy has been a loser all his life, addicted to drugs and alcohol, destroying everything he has, and destroying every relationship in his life...but in the end of his days he quietly decides that it's somehow vitally important to make his cat happy by sharing some of his leftover turkey.

God shines his grace in amazing and unexpected ways...

That He does! I for one am greatfull for his amazing grace every day. Prayers to you all.

Your brother-in-law looks happy there, Dave. God loves all of us the same. We can be thankful that an addiction didn't take hold of us. The person is good inside. And your wife and you are very good to not turn him away when he is at the end of his life...he knows no matter what, he has people who care about him.

Man everyone must be sleeping off the food overload! First or am I last?

I have turkey, mashed potaters, yams and stuffing.

The only thing I need to complete that is a piece of fried chicken to dip in the potatos.

Mama and I did not even have a pie or desert... We both fell asleep in the Family room.... BTW We cooked a nice Smithfield Spiral cut Ham... Yummmmm
