So anyone wanna see what I was up to this morning

Well... I determined that the Pertronix unit was indeed bad.... I changed the original dist back to points and it runs fine... But I also think the ign sw was weak... Anyhwoo... I called Summit, since the purchase was previous to my online purchase history...Warranted for 30 months.....Guess when I bought it ??? 3-3-14.... Yup..:BangHead::BangHead: Now 32 mos old... No help from Summit. Sooo... I called Pertronix directly and explained that this is a project car, and the part sat on the shelf for 24 mos... I understand, he says... No Problem... We will warrantee it for you... Gives me a Return Auth. No. and says they'll replace or fix it right away, as soon as they get it... :thumbsup: :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

yea - Summit tech is only so so --- they try but you're usually better off going to the source

What really pissed me off was this.... She says she can't print an invoice that old, but she can print my purchase history, which is accepted by Pertronix.. So she Emails me my history...5 friggin pages long... I shudder at the thought of putting a calculator to the list..Goes back to 2011.... Summit should have easily taken care of this customer....:wtf::wtf::wtf::wtf:

lol, I had a harley parts supplier send me a purchase history like that. That message had to self destruct. I couldn't have it laying around the house. lol
