Stop in for a cup of coffee

My chicken is warming in the oven right now. Should be chicken and waffles in 20 mins. I'll be checking it out with syrup and butter today. Gravy can wait til next time.

I have a quart jar full of bacon grease here at work. Use it to cook just about everything.. Gonna fry taters and onions in it for lunch with a fat ribeye.. Should be a good follow-up to chicken and waffles.

When the boss is gone, this place is kinda cool. When he's here, not so much. The crazy one is retiring in 22 more days (not that we're counting!)
 
On the 22nd, we're doing a big brunch before leaving for Christmas. The menu has eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, chicken, fried taters, grits and Belgian waffles.. I make the biscuits & gravy and waffles everybody else chips in on making the rest..
 
DJ on the radio this morning reiterated a joke:
you know, Obama has really enjoyed living in the White House with his mother-in-law... and is apparently really feeling like he will miss her - in 31 days, 6hrs and 26min...
 
We got a place called Black Bear diner out here. Known for home style food and large portions.

Green Chilies are a big deal in these parts.. There's a place that serves green chile gravy that is just out of this world. I can't imagine cannabis gravy being anything but awesome!!

Certainly would help in the finishing the meal! And then dessert!
