I need to get my chit together and decide on a new torque converter.. the 5300 stall I have now just ain't it for the street

Seal is available, cables and gear unit also. Same sunroof maker did lots of different cars using the same parts.. some VW parts are actually the same..

My son cut up a 95 Jetta if you need me to look to see if he has what you need...

Good morning to all, just caught up on previous pages. I'd love a painting project but it's thunderstorms today, all day, that's ok because the tree is coming down...Christmas is over lol. Went back to work yesterday, got a nice welcome back, comments that it wasn't the same around there while I was gone, etc., that surprised me a little. Hope everyone's Sunday is safe and good.

Always a good thing when you go back to work..

Speaking of which.... I asked what's It'd take to get my wife to pose with the dart when it's done, she replied, you really want me posing at the age of 80?!
Never have much trouble getting my wife Sharon to pose for a good photo op. She's all ham no pork. Here she is a couple decades ago sprattled 'cross't the hood o' the Mark V. What a freegin' car that was, Ferd product notwithstanding. Heaviest production car ever made, by anyone, anywhere. I had the overdrive set to kick in around 67, then it was Star Trek; fwhoooosh.

Blowin' down Rt. 10 across Eastern Louisiana one night about 3AM in June '95, I woke up in the middle of that big white leather sofa back seat with Sharon asleep against my shoulder and my stepson asleep against the window on the other side. Light poles are flashin' by - zip, zip, zip - dotted lines on the road are blurrin' together. 400's just purrin' and the exhaust is singin' in those 3-inch stainless pipes with the 4 glasspacks - wwwwwhhhhhuuuuuuuusssssshhhhh. In the front seat my brother in law's rocked back in the driver seat talkin' with somebody on the CB, his girlfriend asleep against him, mother in law asleep against the other door. I lean forward: That fluid speedometer's pegged out at 85. I sez "How fast we goin', Carl?" He sez "Well I don't really know, Ron, but", motioning out the back with his thumb, "HE says we're goin' 135." I look out the back window, Louisiana State Trooper's right on our back bumper, just haulin' *** across the panhandle talkin' with Carl on the radio, seein' what the old Lincoln would do.

We can still use a lot of rain here, the pond is still not even half full.
Or is it half empty????
I agree with Ray. Half full. If you know it is increasing it is half full. If it was full and decreasing, then it is half empty. If you don't know then it is debatable.

Some people say the glass is half full, some say it's half empty, but the engineer'll tell ya' the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

Have you tried asking @Dodge33??? They have lots of parts and are good to deal with... They may have a set of 63 motor mounts for a slant...

Thank's Karl for this post.......and yes I do have a pair of those early A-body steel brackets,
(from a 63 Dart) but they are still on the motor! Unfornunately, I can't even get to the motor/trans right now anyway, because we are still cleaning up Mother's house, and buildings,
(she passed away) and me and my brother have absolutely no time what so ever!! If they MM
brackets were off, of if I find a pair here at our shop, I will be sure to let Rainey Day Auto know about them!! Thank's again for your post! Dodge33

Here is a nice old Mopar farm truck from our sordid past. 318 and double-lockout automatic, it wouldn't make any better'n about 45 up State Road Hill. But it went up State Road Hill at 45 with 2 tons of bricks on the back.

Don't think you would hear that from beerineers. lol.
Unless they're right by the keg. Then, smaller glass could mean colder beer, just more refilling. :D

I like to have a little bit o' power in my Mopars. Here's the 2500 doin' a little civic service, a little tornado cleanup. Hauled this Sycamore section out of the road, then my nephew came over and told me the pork butt fireman bet him 10 bucks it wouldn't pull it. I told him, go back and tell him I pulled it with the parking brake on.

Half empty, half full... makes me no difference, as long as there's bourbon in it..
Hey Ben Ricky, check out this pose of Sharon that I found while lookin' for the Rincoln pic. It's your bike's big brother! That was when we just got it. Note the Continental tires! It was a whole nuther bike once we got done with it, scary fast.
