Keep in mind they are not as many cubes either. 6.4 L =390cu in 6.1 =370. So, above SB size, but barely what the old big blocks were. I think it has a lot more to do with cylinder layout though. The new ones are probably engineered more precise and don't need the BIG block.

not yet - I haven't been out there except to grab a screw driver in weeks! That new support is raw - so I will need some warmer weather to paint it anyway...

Good morning...just sipping quietly here. Gotta study for the first of many tests on Burgundy. It's cool to learn but it irks me to be tested. I guess people (our female sommelier) just want the chance to be "the boss" over others. Then again, there's no point in bitchin' about it!
yes. its based on the LA block . I've seen some 3rd gen hemi's bolted to 727s too
i saw it seconds after it was posted, if i had the extra 500, they'd already be on the way to me. I'm dying for set and most go fro 1300ish in that shape
