Stop in for a cup of coffee

Going ok. Kid's off to work. :glasses7:

We are waiting for our flex plate bolts from Mancini. They really dropped the ball on my last order. I ordered parts a week ago on Friday, and they finally came on Wednesday... :???:

They usually come in one or two days. :D

Then they gave me a big block engine to body ground strap instead of the fuel tank ground strap like I had ordered... :banghead:

Then they sent me the wrong bolts. I specifically stated that I wanted the 6 point bolts, not the 12 point ones, and even told him the number from the web site, and he still shipped me the 12 point bolts... :finga:

I like using the hex bolts as I have mostly 6 point sockets to work with them... I already have a set of those 12 point flex plate bolts in my truck doing nothing as I don't like them...

I told them that they already had a ground strap coming to me when I told them about the mixed up bolts, so they could get them all in the proper package, and the ground strap came on Sat, with no bolts.... :banghead:

So, what should have taken just a few days to get parts and bolt the engine and trans together has not been taking over a week and a half due to waiting for parts.... :banghead:

But we did get the tires on the Valiant and now switched places in the garage with the Challenger convertible so we can work on it easier...

I have to gather all the relays and such to get the dash board installed...

Geee's Laweeez !! That does suck, I bet they get there chit together after talking to to today Karl :D I would be out of control about that chit sir :banghead:

I already talked to them last week. I am just waiting for my flex plate bolts to show up... :violent1:

I really miss TJ and Art at Mancini. They were good... :banghead:

Get one cup of ambition and mix it in a bowl with 2 cups of elbow grease, and you can make some progress... :D

Remember english class? When they taught you about pro and con. Pro is good, and con is opposite. That fits right in with Progress and Congress. Congress is the opposite of Progress.... :finga:

The worst thing about it, is the manager is the one who originally took my order and screwed it up.... :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Y'all want to see a cool picture of Keith, Pete and I in Pete's 59 Sweptline ?

I just smelled my armpits and @ss, that smell is not from me.... :???:

Who farted??? :fart:

Morning guys, 41 years ago today I married my high school sweetheart. We have had some trying times health wise lately but are still hanging in there.

Time for me to get busy. I have a short day today so I can get some things done at home this afternoon. First stop on my route this morning is Dewar Machine. That's where I had my machine work done on my 273. There's always something fun going on there. Next stop is Maurer Repair. Dennis is a old drag racer from the 60's and a street rodder. He had a few of his own but he is always building or working on someone elses. I have 2 body shops next that usually have somebodys old car they are re doing. Corkery's has a 36 Chevy sedan almost done and a Ford Retractable on the rotisserie.
One of my last stops is Jesup Paint. Darryl is a exelent body man and usually has a couple old projects going. He must have 10 of his own cars (mostly Chevy) but he has owned Mopars too. I get excited to go on my route even after 25 years! LOL

That does sound like a lot of fun. Did you turn wrenches before you started selling them?
