Stop in for a cup of coffee

that's a good thing! do you take anything?
Nope. I can't take NSAIDs or aspirin due to severe G.I. reaction and I won't take narcotic pain killers. Just riding it out and trying to keep it moving to get it to loosen up and slip back into place.

eeee - ugh - owww.. any way you can get into a hot tub?

Stopping by to say Hi. A little under the weather myself (perhaps literally with the unusual temperature fluctuations.) Or maybe allergies. Nothing very serious. Anyway the Fury is running rough again, Mr. Davis tinkered awhile then I just left it there.
Had a long talk with my Mom today, filled in some details about her life up until I was born. Maybe it has happened to you but I suddenly realized all this time my Dad was like Superman to me, my Mom came into adulthood pretty much alone yet she got an education and did all the right things while being a nice lady, that took some real gumption.

I am finally going to get some car time in this week.

I did a 60 hour work week last week, i am about ready to throw a rod.

I have a couple days off ....oh right!!

Time to get back to my valiant chat and more parts hunting.

I was going to a pick a part yard tomorrow and scout what i can get for a rear end for the valiant.

Just something cheap and stronger than a 7 1/4 and more importantly, something that parts are available for.

Parts avalibility and gear selection is very poor for the 7 1/4

yea - you were quiet - that had to about kill you! :poke::lol:
No. Believe it or not, I had to dress down an NCO two tanks higher than me, not the first time I've ever had to do it either and normally I'd just let the chain handle but he damn near got people killed, only way to stop his stupidity was to do it on the spot. That resulted in a not so pleasant closed door session with the CO and 1st Sgt....... let's just say, I won this round again

It's always surprising to me that when we get older we are able to gain new insight into the lives our parents led and sometimes gain a new appreciation of what they overcame to become who they ultimately were...and realize how much more it was than we ever realized.

There is no way i could have lived the life my mom had. She had children and was married very young. I can now see the frustrations she had and how she had to mature earlier than i had to because she had to survive.

I can appreciate that more now that i am 30 and i realize how long my childhood was.....or still is......i got to be a Disney Princess and she didnt so i can't stay angry with her short comings now that i understand.
