Stop in for a cup of coffee

word of advice, DO NOT do this in a snowy/sub-zero region. I have a friend who has to replace some of the tiles here in Indiana every single year. They'll crack in sub-zero temps and leak like a sieve. They're best suited for warmer, moister climates. I'm not sure how your winters are in Iowa normally, but we routinely get around zero a few times a year and sometimes colder.
the one's Mike is showing us there are metal

He said he has to replace the clay roof! Have to read also not just look, this aint no picture book!:poke::poke::lol:

well - it is a top company in the area and I knew they would come in high - it's just a point of comparison - we have 2 layers on there now and the ENTIRE roof has to be done - house, breezeway and garage

Thanks, good to know. I prefer archetectual fibreglass but the wife wants something closer to the 100 year old clay tile. Most contractors won't install or do any repairs to the clay or the fancy metal stuff.

A roofing sruare, in their terms is 10ft X 10ft.. Thus 3000 sq ft translate to 30 square. The roofer almost always talk in terms of roofing squares..
