Stop in for a cup of coffee

ever use them? they make it easier by yourself - but still not truly easy..
Yep, I've used them. They work fine inside a shop with a good flat floor. Not terribly hard to push a car around with them and it's not like you are moving it far inside the shop.

I have a set of those, fine on a smooth surface. Not so much if you have to run over a bump. Switched my wheels to pneumatic. Cost as much as I paid for the units but easier to roll.
I agree, pneumatic wheels are much better. Especially if you need to move it over asphalt or bumps.

I had a set before and if catch the wheels at a bad angle, it's almost impossible to push.

I still had to have another person help me.
Only my cousin could move a car alone with those but he is a huge dude who was in n wrestling.

I don't even stand a chance to move a car by myself like that

what ones did you switch to? I have that exact issue with mine
Bought mine at home depot. They were about 8 bucks each if I remember correct. No pics now they are with the cuda. I stuck one under the trans. So I could roll the engine and frame out from under the body. Worked easy.

I have found they don't change direction well - I have to alternate pushing the front then the back to get the car over to where I want it. Last year I decided I wanted the car turned 180 degrees in the garage - THAT was fun!

they must sit up quite a bit higher than they originally did...?

They work. It just takes two people. Dolly carts still are easier with two people also.

I have an alterkation coil over on mine not a k frame. Perhaps that where I'm losing you.

Well, the magnets are in the mail! I had to make sure to check that the envelopes wouldn't stick to the metal mailbox before dropping them in. I could just imagine them sticking to the sides and never getting to the bottom of the box for collection...

Do you have any chick magnets????

I find it best to push on the wheels/tires or the bumpers to at least to get it headed in the right direction - then I can use the very front or very rear of the car to get it where I want it

one huge disadvantage of being my size ....is I don't have enough strength to push cars around and move heavy stuff where I want it. So I have to get creative and figure out ways to let a machine do the work

I am going to attempt to build a set up like this to move body shells in the shop

I am thinking harbor freight has the casters ....then I need, maybe a 4 feet of square tube

I already have the plate metal

I would like to do 100. bucks out of pocket and maybe 6 hours of work

A member that I met in Janesville, WI had a nice jig that he made with casters to move body shells around without suspensions on them... I can't remember his screen name it had 383 in it, he was a big block Dart guy...

The ones I posted the link to...on asphalt...

You have to watch those style of wheels, we have bent many of them with just a-bodies and an e-body... Some are cheaply made and bend under stress...

If you are going to go that way, get a good heavy duty set....

I have an *** klown magnet.

How about one of these shirts????
