I wouldn't assume that. The male Nurse who treated me in the hospital was a former Army medic and had spent lots of duty time over in the sandbox. He told me a bunch of stories about guys over there going down hard from dehydration and having a-fib, seizures, etc. He was the one that figured out quickly that it was dehydration. He took one look at me and said "You look dry." jabbed an I.V. in me and it was all fixed by the time the cardiologist showed up.
 
In other news...

There is a local brewing company that has recently set up in our town that has been winning awards like crazy. The owners and brew master are also car guys too and are using car related imagery in their advertising. I just found out that have started Friday night cruise-in meets every Friday this Spring through next Fall that includes some beer tasting to go with it. This just may be my new Friday evening distraction for the days I get out of work early. It's only 3 miles from my house.

well, two bills gone out the door on fleabay

but I bought ....main bearings, rod bearings, piston rings, gasket set, freeze plugs and cam bearings for my slant build up

at least that will keep me busy for awhile
 
Cool, sounds like fun there, have a shop boil it out and magnaflux it so you are starting with a clean canvas that is good. No idea what that runs now used to be cheap.
 
No, actually I slept yesterday afternoon. been out in garage working on vette most of the night. Making a little progress anyway.
 
Well I actually own this sun tester now, just have to pick it up. Feel like I stole it actually.

It WILL be more in gas than the $40 to buy it! Big shoutout to James at PST for picking it up for me.
 
Read the instructions each is different, I remember I used thinner on one to clean it and it did not wrinkle all over? Prob was not dry all the way no idea what did it. The VHT I have done V/c's and looks great when done.
