Stop in for a cup of coffee

I could never do a job like that, give me a tool belt and a room full of lights to hang
I went from being a mover to being a dispatcher - at first I thought it would be good for me both physically and financially - and I do have to admit that my back no longer bothers me (most of the time) and I am making more $$ than the guys on the moving crew do - but I miss "working" for a living... don't get me wrong, this is ok - but the mental/dealing with public thing sucks most of the time

ugh - not enough coffee in the country to make that interesting

Yeah..... tell me about it

could be worse death by powrepoint!

PowerPoint can be made fun, black and white legal documents, not so much

so I have a 71 318 out of a van with a 727 behind it - I put a socket on the crank blot yesterday and it has good compression.. except for a carb., I have everything needed to make it run - even a half way decent set of headers - any ideas what it might be worth?

Well i sold my running 69 318 from a dart with 904 behind it for 75 bucks............ only offer I'd gotten in 3 months of it being listed. The 727 boosts the value slightly but it's still a 318 that is tough for anyone to want to drive for.

I sent in a cubicle in a corner basement office. Out of sight and out of mind, draw some stuff on a computer and go home, repeat.

Crank blots are rare. Worth big bucks. LOL

this is why I feel like I should keep it all and try to find a car to build - a running 318,727, 8.75 Dart or Scamp will easily get me 5k.. what's that thing about forgiveness instead of permission.. :D

Everyone have a good day, heading out the door to walk sugar britches to her car (Mopar) and open the door for her and get me a sugar ..

1/2 the crowd was there to see GnR and was hating on Metallica and 1/2 was there for Metallica and hating on GnR... it was pretty tense at times

nice nice nice - all still in one piece I hope...
From what I can tell. The box as is will cost $97 to ship  so Don suggested I let Ulf bring the stuff in a suitcase when he goes to Carlisle in July. I don't mind waiting but we'll see how it turns out.

The shifter is too big to fit in a flat rate box, you see. The seatbelts make up most of the weight so maybe splitting it in two makes for a lower total. We'll see, we'll see.

Scampy got the dizzie apart it was definitely done at some time since it is painted silver all over and also the inside. the # is 2875032 I think it is a 72 but it might also be a 62 poly with that number sequence the 70's all start with 3xxxxx, I cant find the number in my book at all and online there seems to be the same thing, Basically not worth much maybe 75 rebuilt. Does have a pretty good mechanical advance around 45 or so did not check the vac side yet.

yea - the box was 19lbs. - the one thing you have to be careful shipping is the shifter - it would take much to crush and destroy it - it's worth it to pay a little extra to ship it in a bigger (safer) box
