geez - I had some trouble pulling the trailer (empty) I bought from Mitch back from NJ with my Silverado 1500, I guess it's time for a truck upgrade huh?
Very true. I hate the new regen modes. Really kills power and economyIt was not all about the MPG, it was how it pulled it. Had no problem keeping 70, 75 MPH on way home, that is the speed limit where I was. The Damn EPA has hobbled the MPG on diesel trucks with all the smog crap. If a person deletes the crap they get over 20 MPG. BUT illegal to do so. Got up to 85 MPH at one point getting out of trouble with some dick head semi drivers. Just pushed the loud peddle to the floor and good buy truckers!

Oh, yeah. I had everything except the replace-after-use-bolts in the basement when I started and it still took 2 1/2 weeks to fix.seems you might have missed that "must be done" deadline by a day or two though..
see?!? - now if you ever have to do it again, you'll know what you're up against...Oh, yeah. I had everything except the replace-after-use-bolts in the basement when I started and it still took 2 1/2 weeks to fix.
Well, I actually knew what I was up against. I did the other side last year. Screwed this one up a little more, though.see?!? - now if you ever have to do it again, you'll know what you're up against...
I hauled The Sun engine tester from Jersey in the Magnum with plenty of power to spare. Lolgeez - I had some trouble pulling the trailer (empty) I bought from Mitch back from NJ with my Silverado 1500, I guess it's time for a truck upgrade huh?
And I still don't like working on Audi's or Vw. lol Lot's involved in that front suspension compared to other modern rides.Well, I actually knew what I was up against. I did the other side last year. Screwed this one up a little more, though.
We spent $1,800 on repairs on the thing a few months back and I knew (in theory) how to do this so I didn't feel like taking Dodge money and giving it to Audi.
oh - the truck had enough power - it was the sway over 60mph that was an issue - empty trailer, open highway, windy day...I hauled The Sun engine tester from Jersey in the Magnum with plenty of power to spare. Lol
Yeah, i bet that was a nerve wracking ride that never seemed to end lolit was one of the more hair raising things I have been involved with on the road in a very long time - not something I will forget - probably ever
you bet, once I got a handle on why it was swaying I simply slowed down - which of course made for a LONG *** RIDEYeah, i bet that was a nerve wracking ride that never seemed to end lol
I'm curious how it compares to the BMW design. It handles exceptionally well in my experience, even though I think our car handles really, really well, too.And I still don't like working on Audi's or Vw. lol Lot's involved in that front suspension compared to other modern rides.
