Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm curious how it compares to the BMW design. It handles exceptionally well in my experience, even though I think our car handles really, really well, too.
I've done quite a bit on Bmw and Benz when I worked at dealerships, quite a while ago, but I don't remember anything as difficult as what you went through. Though I was usually putting new stuff on because of a wreck. Similar double wishbone front suspension though. Hondas years ago also had that same type of front suspension.

Well, there's a lot of salt here on the roads in the winter and it's got 160 k miles on it so it's no surprise the spring broke and the bolt was seized. I added som extra work all by myself when I pulled the inner joint apart because I forgot to remove the center bolt as the first step. And if I'd been clever, I would have removed the bolts holding the upper control arms to the shock mount in stead and none of this would have happened.

Who says you cant carve a cylinder head out of billet aliminum. It's for a John Deete tractor pull engine that runs on alcohol. It's a Hemi head design.

I have a stupid question. Are they the same head? Notice that each cylinder has 3 holes along the one side. On the mill the row od holes are all in line. On the head standing the 3 holes down the right side are staggered. It means nothing to me I just admiring the workmanship when I noticed that the holes were different.

so I have a 71 318 out of a van with a 727 behind it - I put a socket on the crank blot yesterday and it has good compression.. except for a carb., I have everything needed to make it run - even a half way decent set of headers - any ideas what it might be worth?

I went from being a mover to being a dispatcher - at first I thought it would be good for me both physically and financially - and I do have to admit that my back no longer bothers me (most of the time) and I am making more $$ than the guys on the moving crew do - but I miss "working" for a living... don't get me wrong, this is ok - but the mental/dealing with public thing sucks most of the time
I like to Move it ... Move it....
