Stop in for a cup of coffee

The one I have did around 40 also, tell you what the front wheel gets a serious wobble, those kits are cool for around $100, yes you can drive it all day on a tank of gas that's about a half gallon, saved me serious money going to work on it for a few years.

Best part was no licenses or plates needed to ride it in Cali, Here you have to get a plate and a moped type license.

Nice, wish they would make a lightweight, rust-proof bike in the USA, they are all Made In China now (I peeled off that sticker and the one that says WARNING Do not ride this bike until you have read the owners manual.)

Most of them are made overseas now...

Remember the old Schwinns that were made in Chicago??? They had a lifetime warranty on all welds...

I bought a new one from Walmart a few years back and it broke the third time I rode it... We have tried fixing it, but it keeps breaking... It's now a parts bike...

If he sees a cop and thinks he may have a problem, he just turns off the engine and uses the pedals... he says that most of them don't even pay attention or notice...

you are seriously the only person I have ever heard of who actually broke a bike ...like what were you doing. you do realize that you are supposed to pedal to propel yourself forward right?? that is all it is designed for.

Never knew they had a warranty, Tell you what I new a few bike collectors they get nuts, Actually there is a old guy here that is really into PA made tractors and model A's, he showed them to me and on a large shelf" around one of his buildings is every bicycle John Deere ever made, really cool to see the evolution of then, bet his collections starts in the late 50's to today, all of them!

A lot of stuff I can use on the dist there, starter brushes not so much but there are just a few in the mix, prob post them here if anyone but Anders are rebuilding them. I have a couple laying around but not good years to even bother wit to rebuild, I actually have some starter gears also that came with the dist hoard I got.

I rode my old "Chicago Schwinn" all over when I was younger and didn't have a license yet... We moved out of district and my GF was 7 miles away, I used to wake up and eat 1/2 to 3/4 of a watermelon and then hop on the bike and go hang with her... I would sometimes make the trip 2 -3 times per day...

I got in such great shape that I could pedal up hill in 10th gear without downshifting.... I also liked to "lap" the die hard biker type guys in their spandex pants... I would be in my cut-off jean shorts and t-shirt and just up my pace until I caught up and passed them and keep going... They couldn't keep up with me...

I once had to race a storm front coming in... Every time I travelled north I would gain on the cloud front, then when I was going west, it would catch up to me... I just made it home about 5 minutes before the rain started and went to the end of my street at the top of the hill and cooled down with the wind blowing the storm in... That was exciting and fun to race a storm front and win...

After all the miles I put on my old ten speed without breaking it, the new one couldn't even compare...

The old ones were much better built than the new ones...
