just ask Ben or Karl...No reason you can't be both...at the same time!
But why OD? It's actually a PIA with high ratio rears since the tranny keeps jumping around with light throttle when in OD and it bucks a lot.Ya, thinking of OD for the car.
By the way took me a minute but Car-part.com was what I was thinking
Yes, or the 46RH4 speed Auto Transmission.

IMO a good idea. Just need to connect "overdrive" to a manual switch.Yes, or the 46RH
Right now its a thought, Im really tired of not being able to drive further than 100 miles before I start looking for the next gas station. No way would I pay for a GV unit and I see the 200R4 swap being done as well as the 42/46RH. So just getting ideas.

One of my neighbors has a new toy. '62 Vette white with a red interior. He's been cruising it around the neighborhood for the past hour. Haven't been able to get a pic yet but it looks kinda like this...

100 miles?? Jeez, what rear ratio do you have? Our engines are a pretty close match and I have 3.91 rear gears. I get around 10 mpg around town and 12-14 highway (60-70 mph). That puts me around 150-200 miles per tank with a 25-50 mile reserve.Yes, or the 46RH

Gotta ask, what's the timing set at?Ya, I know. Thats why I wish I knew someone close to help me figure this out.. LOL
So that brings up a good question. I had my engine broken in on the dyno. He determined my max hp was gained at 18* initial. Im running 34 total. So I set it to 18* when I got home and left it.Gotta ask, what's the timing set at?
