Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Up for an hour now, getting the trash out for garbage day and giving the dog his med routing, then feeding him... :realcrazy:

I have to feed him last so there is incentive for him to behave.... :poke:

Now I need to set-up a PayPal account because they closed my account down last time I forgot my password... :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :icon_fU: :icon_fU: :icon_fU:
did they deactivate the old account? you may have trouble creating a new one if the old one is still active

Hey, me too. Good thing I remembered the wife told me it was bad last night. She put it back in the fridge :BangHead: looked more like cottage cheese.
Good thing it didn't end up in the coffee when you only had one eyeball open. lol

finally at work, water is up so high, I have to drive way far south east, just to turn and head due west to get around the water. Probably adds 20 miles to my trip and 45 minutes

Yeah, let me see if I can make a long story medium:

I tried to reset my password about 6 months ago because it was so long since I had last used it, I had forgotten my password and requested the password reset. They send a link to my CURRENT EMAIL to reset it and I go through the procedure...

Then when I go to sign in, it wants me to answer my security questions and I failed... I couldn't remember what I set-up on my security questions, it's been much longer since I had done those than the password that I forgot...

So I call in and tell them my problem that I had SUCCESSFULLY reset my password and can't remember the security questions that it now wants me to answer before going any further... Now the phone support person says that they will send an email for me to reset the security questions to MY OLD EMAIL... :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead:

I tell them that I haven't used that email for about 3 years now, it's no longer working after I cancelled AT&T... They said that they can't send the info to MY CURRENT EMAIL, claiming that it's not on file... :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

I pointed out that I had informed them of my new email and one of their reps helped me change over to the new email over 2 years ago... And Hello McFly - your system already sent me the password reset info to my new email and that's where the monthly account status notices go every month - IT'S IN YOUR SYSTEM... :icon_fU: :icon_fU: :icon_fU:

They say that they can't do anything about that and the only option is to close the account... So I say - Go ahead, I don't need these headaches... :icon_fU: :BangHead:

*******************************************************

Fast forward to today:

I go to set-up a new account to my current e-mail (remember now that they don't officially recognize my current one), and it won't let me set-up an account for that email as there is already an account set-up for it... What???   :realcrazy: :realcrazy: :realcrazy:

Ok, I'll play along...

So I request a password reset, and it goes to my CURRENT EMAIL....

I use the link and reset my password....

Get a boat... canoe... or amphibious vehicle....

when we were kids, we went out to dinner and there was a fast downpour... When we get home, the mains street in our neighborhood is flooded and our neighbors from across the street are canoeing down the street in their canoe.... :D :D :D

I wished that I could get a ride... :(

(I know - that's what she said.... :D )

finding money is always a good thing

I'm surprised he was able to actually get a voice on the other end of that line.

That was six months ago...

I haven't tried to talk to them today...

I just 'winged it' to see what would happen.... :D

Sometimes you have to go with the flow... :mob:

I "needed" to get in touch with USPS Tuesday night - after 10 minutes of yes & no, push 2 for this and 6 for that the automated voice said "you're approximate wait time is 17 to 26 minutes" - - after 45 minutes I hung up, good thing it wasn't/isn't a real OMG emergency...

Looks like our road might get paved soon. They cleaned up the edges with a bobcat yesterday. Havent cut in any driveways yet though. Just saw them put a sign out front, so working just a little ways from me.
