I noticed the first few faded leaves scattered on the sidewalk, and it's a little cooler, thanks, Karl.
They are falling fast here
I noticed our leaves starting to fall a week and a half ago...
those are for the early trees, the regular ones are still hanging onto theirs.
Our peak colors happen between the 1st and 3rd weeks in Oct... It depends on the year and weather...
Then by Nov we have lots of brown ones falling... You don't want to gather them too early or more will fall and you have to do it again....
Then if you wait too long and the snow falls, you can't do them until it all melts....
But they f*ck up the snowblower if you don't get the leaves off the driveway before it snows....
Some years you win, some years you don't...

so it must be rainy over there ?
its still getting in the 90s here for day time highs but the nights are getting cooler ....this morning was 60 and that is way down from what it was.
