worse comes to worse, take a screw driver, drive it thru the filter and turn it. watch your hands so you dont cut yourself
I did that once and tore the can off the base. Then ended up with the chisel technique trying to get the base of the filter off. Somebody had done the Magilla Gorilla putting it on.

Yeah try to get off with my hands but it's too tight someone put it on too tight I never use a wrench to put them on I always tighten them by hand so I can get them off by hand

Sorry.. Got preoccupied with work stuff (crazy huh?) Was dealing with leaky fertilizer tanks. I caught it before the tanker finished unloading tho, so I had them pump it back into the tanker so I can go replumb a tank. My guys replumbed this thing a week ago, crossthreaded the main valve.. Fun for me!!!
