Just asking, not judging...your car, your money. And don't take the $100 comment wrong. That was a :poke: at me being broke ***/not working. It's a really nice car and there's plenty of guys on here that may be interested and have funds available.

all good just not my cup of tea i wanted this car 8 years ago now i relized im not as young as i used to be LOL
gonna go back to a simple cruiser "impala" basic and take some funds for my house. but thats only if i can recoupe all funds spent including shipping

do you think i should just run an ad in the forsale section?
i know guys are gonna bust my chops but alot of guys wanted the car.
and i am the most easy seller to deal with no bull ****!

Probably, only way to do it on FABO unless someone on this thread is interested. You might hold and let a couple others here give their thoughts. There are several regulars on this thread that have a lot more experience buying and selling better cars.

They can't comment on the for sale ad even if they had a problem. As long as your asking price isn't twice what you paid for it and you simply say something to the effect that life happened and now you need the funds, I doubt anyone really gets shitty bout it

Why the attitude with guys in this thread? No one is critical of you but I'm sensing some attitude in your posts about this. Which tells me deep down, you have problem with yourself in selling it

whew - filled the bed of the truck with hedge and bush trimmings.. got it done but yea, like Keith said - hot out there once that sun got right up above ya. Nice breeze and cool in the shade though - lookin' like some grillin' and beers on the deck soon, just waiting for the sun to go down a bit so we have some shade...
 
so i never thought i would farm out any kind of automotive work that i can do myself.......but

there is not running chance that i will have time to do much any more.

so i am paying a zealous young man to do my body work on the wagon.

just got finished buying all the paint chemicals minus the color coat, only because i still don't know what color i want.

i am still doing the engine myself. i finally got to use my new cam bearing tool and it works so good.

happy days :)
 
wow - paying someone to do what you could do yourself!!! IIRC it was you that kinda poopooed at me juzz a little a while back when I admitted I had farmed out some repair on my truck... :p :lol:

I ended up out front trimming a maple tree. It had moss all over it and lots of dead branches - some fairly large. I figured it was a goner, and been thinking of cutting it down, but the wife wanted me to try to save it. So I cleaned out anything dead I could reach and a pruned few others. Then I decided to try the pressure washer on the moss. Worked great (other than me getting covered in the crap flying everywhere)and didn't damage the bark. Looks a lot better now. :thumbsup:
 
I have heard Maples can be fussy and fickle. It will be a good feeling if you saved it. I remember my Grandpa had a maple tree in his yard in St. Pete, FL, that survived the whole time he lived there.
