Not yet...although I actually think I saw a few. Stars are a lot more visible, but it's still a little hazy/cloudy yet Then there is a convenience store up the road which is kinda bright and inconveniently located in the direction I need to look. There are a couple radio towers. And last but not least the neighbors were trying to get there dogs in - shining flashlights all over the damn place. :mad:Hopefully they get done soon and I will look again around 10:30

I figured get a blanket on the lawn grab a few beers and watch the show. Two girls walked by saw me stopped and asked what I was doing. I said we'll I was watching the meteor shower young lady but now that your blocking my view all I see is uranus

Good morning, folks!

Just walked my daughter to a BD party down the street. A neighbor walked by going to the same part (well, his kid was) at the same time so we started talking. He asked me about the 65 dart front I have sitting in my driveway. Turns out he has an old ski boat with a Holley 600 that doesn't run right. I told him I've renovated one of those. Walking back, we stopped and chatted over my car for a bit and as he was leaving he said he has a 1942 Willys CJ-2A behind his house up the street.

And he'll be towing his boat up here soon. I offered to renovate his Holley if need be.

You never know, eh?

edit: Turns out it can't be from '42. The didn't produce them until '45.

Morning hoppy. Round two with the unit is this morning. They refused my paperwork so I went back to that doctors office and had them redo it to fix the issues the readiness dude had with it. We'll see how this goes
 
Good morning men :thumbsup: Cooler is packed with a cooked tenderloin sliced and ready to dip in sauce for some finger food
Next, go outside and wash my truck and double check fluids for some fun time racing :p
