Stop in for a cup of coffee

Memike, good to see you back. Didn't see ya round the coffee shop for a bit .

Thank you for the welcome back :glasses7: yea, been away and busy with crud :coffee2::coffee2:

I have been using appliance paint lately on stuff and like it better than por 15, try it one day it is like baked enamel when it dries.

Cool, how wide is that ring gear 2" I bet!
I believe it is.

That is some good stuff, I have used it a few time a long time ago, My new leaf springs and sway bar in the front I used por 15 on look and match, so I wanted to use it up on the rear end. :color:

I need to put the tracklok in mine the one wheel peel is getting old! I just put the 3.55 ring gear on it and realized I need to order the bearings, I forgot about them!

I'm not sure if I should build some cradles to put the engines on the shelves. I think it would help distribute the load better.

I need to get more screws then.

I was just at the home improvement store last night and when I left I remembered a couple things that I needed, now I can't remember what they are so I can get them when I get "screwed" (more screws for the cradles...)...

I hate when my CRS kicks in....

My brother got some old shelves when his work updated/remodeled. They are heavy duty metal frame, then you put boards on the "ledge" that they form...

I will try loading them with my engine lift... I hope it works...

Worst case, I should be able to mount short blocks on top and long blocks on bottom..

Great day already, "Rudy" got a new alternator, price was fair, I got home in time to make myself a late lunch, drink a glass of wine, rain is setting in and so is a nap.

Oh sorry, Karl, yes there's a place out here called Davis Garage, it's brothers, they are older guys, very honest and fast. They have kept my car running great since I moved from Atlanta.

Glad to see you are up and running  It is a great blessing to have found these brothers to look over your car and do what they do, it's very hard to find good folks that are not out to rip you off on an easy install :glasses7:

Slept 5 hours and can not go back to sleep, I guess I slept good and got all I needed.
Set my Nephew up in my blind on the first day of deer season and he got his first deer at the age of 34, he is a small fellow and was never able to shoot a shot gun becouse of his fingers and hand size.......... I field dressed it and skinned it with in 3 hours of hitting the ground, woke up Sunday morning and quartered it and put it on ice..

I am glad it was a small Doe, or I would have had to call for help...:glasses7:
