Stop in for a cup of coffee

well crap!!! I just discovered that 66-69 B-bodies have a different crossmember for auto Vs. 4 speed.

And of course I don't have the right one.......so another 200 bucks thrown in the air.

I really don't need more projects #-o

Each body line has its own little things about it ....I never had this problem with 67-74 A-bodies.

I got my firewood done last week ......I got my dad to help and we jammed out 2 cords ....we got a rhythm going and he was working the saw and I was feeding into the saw and stacking in a lawn trailer .....took about an hour and a half total.

It hasn't even frosted here and we are already ready.

Well multiply that by 4 then add going down over the hill with the tractor or truck and saw and start from a standing tree. It's a little more of a project for me. And if my friends help they all want some wood and I don't have THAT many trees. I think I work too much

Hey I have a question. What bell housing do I need to match up a big Block to the 4 sp OD transmission. Hops said I need to put a 440 or a 383 in my 85 truck

you are going to have to make one because an OD was never available behind a BB from the factory

So either bore out a regular bell or turn a retainer down.

I have seen people turn the retainer down to 4.3" and some bells already have that size ...particularly with 11 inch clutches (143 tooth)
