Stop in for a cup of coffee

I can just as easily believe, the people who are crowing about "the truth" have their own self-serving interests. I am not saying they do, only that I am skeptical of this "consensus" that people take as fact.
I can understand that. The problem with this kind of science is that you actually have to believe the scientists, no-one other is capable of having a relevant opinion. It's exactly like a dentist. Why ask anybody who's not a dentist why your tooth aches? If all climate scientist in the world (minus a handful who've been showed to be funded by the fossile industry and whose studies have ALL been found to be flawed) agree, the sane and responsible thing to do is to take their word for it.

Wouldn't you agree?

Yeee Haw! I found my other scan tool. I sent Tim and Mitch a message. This one is the same scanner with 2011 software and 5.0 operating system. One step up from the first one I pictured.

To me this is what stands out about the issue, people's strong opinions are based on a kind of overall ball-park feeling of how it "must be" which may not be the truth at all...but because now everyone is saying it, those who question it are labeled as terrible, ignorant people. We are just going by what we are being "told." Heck if I went by what I was told, I should be dead right now.
automobile gas emissions are a very real thing.. and "we" have been working for year to try to reduce that foot print. - - on the other side of the coin, Global Warming? I'm all for it! - I'll be happy when it STOPS snowing in Massachusetts..

although my above post ISN'T a true reflection of how I feel about it - you'd be surprised at just how many DO feel that way..

I need to add, both have Asian and European as well as Domestic software.

Yes, if they know what they are talking about.

To call it "Global warming" is a misnomer. It is REALLY Global climate change. And it is evident all over the world. You have to live under a rock in the bottom of the ocean not to see the effects of this.

I watched a docomentary regarding global warming. Evaporation tests from locations all over the planet. There is less evaporation than lets say 30 years ago. The only significant change in evaporation was in three days after 9/11. Due to little to no aircraft in the skies.
Imagine all the burned fuel over our heads every day.
Put a drop of gasoline in a pail and what happens? Same thing, millions of tons of toxins deposited in our atmosphere, daily. It has to affect something, no?

yea - I just said automobiles because it's easy and obvious - but it's really just the tip of the iceberg... (see what I did there!!?)

Just this year in America, we have seen several "record" weather events.

Done. Mitch can have the 4.0 if he wishes. We can work out the details through PM. Thanks.

ok OK OK - - sheeeeesh - don't get yer nickers in a wad!! :poke:
Al gore was screwed up in his head. Not warming, every where, but getting cooler as well. And of course the ice melting, It is a concern. Now has human's affected this? Who knows. No way to ever know, might have happend, if man was not on this planet.

I think the real issue is more about WHERE it's happening - - the locations that had troubles 50 years ago are not the same places that are having those same troubles today (to some degree)

Do our actions affect the earth. Duh. Yeh
Climate has and will continue to change with or without our input. Are the results of our actions significant when compared to the affects of natural climate changes? Don't know what the climate would have done without us...
Scientists can 'prove' anything. ALL studies are paid for by someone - and everyone has an opinion . So, the particulars of any study may be BS.
Most of what we do - good or bad (including our existence)- can be erased by a weather event.
Bottom line is use common sense. Don't **** where you eat.
Good Morning!

As man has populated the earth, he has had to venture further out in search of a place to live/build homes. We have encroached in areas with our houses, that should not have been built on. Flood zones, come to mind. Near fire prone areas,

we do tend to only really notice it when thing affect us directly..
