funny thing is they want to put Orange county off the rest of the coastal cities, as well as San diego.

As noted by The San Diego Tribune, "New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the jurisdiction of any other state; nor any state be formed by the junction of two or more states, or parts of states, without the consent of the legislatures of the states concerned as well as of the Congress."

So, that's that.

That split would cut the major metro areas off from the majority of their food producing ground. Not to mention that aquaduct that brings water to LA from the "next state". Sorry LA, you're cut off!"

Worked for West Virginia so it could be done.

In the west, it is ALL about the water...
yep. was reading an article that the Colorado River no longer dumps into the Pacific Ocean as it once did. Why? Cause 100% of the water is scooped up and used by major metro areas like LA and others including Vegas

And Mexico is pissed about it. They get NONE of the water. Against a treaty Colorado river dispute - Wikipedia

Not a chance in hell today. Congress couldn't agree on which color to whitewash a church...
But they always agree to pass themselves pay raises(which i honestly think the people should have to vote on)

We should vote the whole lot of them to the curb. ALL.
Agreed. 1000% but wont happen. Too many people vote solely on the R or D next to someone's name. Regardless of the candidates past/history or lies.

There should be term limits on every office.
Two way street there. It depends on the limits for sure. Our local city council elections netted us 3 clowns that think they are smarter than everyone else but don't have a clue. The learning curve is so long that by the time they catch on to how things work it's time for another election.

Im still under the weather.
Today is fever/chills. Yup,good times.....

But, knowing the ropes is part of the problem, IMO the more you know the system, the easier it is to get around it.
