On the other hand...he has done this before and is already pricing transport. Said he has a guy that might bring it up for $800. Maybe you could use some of his contacts... some of them won't deal with extra stuff that is not on the car. So motor out would be a deal breaker with some.
 
Biggest issue he runs into with auction buys is time of pickup. Most allow 3 days before they start charging storage. He said last one was $40 per day.

dang, why didnt i think of that. when i sold my chargers back in 08/09, guy gave me a 350 dollar deposit, never came and got them, 18 months later, I put them back up for sale and he comes and gets them finally.

This is still in the "Might" zone. If I can get a better price, it goes into the "well, how pissed will my wife be" zone. :lol:

Just gotta figure out how to recondition the batteries.

With these battrys all you do to recondition is connect to a 12volt car battery charger for a few seconds till the get warm, then put n regular charger.
 
Big news from Harley. Closing KC and consolidating that stuff to York PA. Was concern from long term guys when I worked there in 2014 that it could go the other way.

Check with "Batteries Plus" for help with those Makita batteries.

They've saved me quite a bit of $ with Dewalt 18V stuff!

All batteries are good so far, just have problems with three drills, triggers are dirty more then likely. Both saws are good.
