Why don't you just get a roll of tubing and make them not hard at all and the nickle type line is seriously easy to bend by hand even, prob work out less than the rubber. You can get the coil to go over them also if worried about rubbing.

I think I'll hop in the pick up this morning and travel 45 min. north and drop off a 3:23 gearset and speedo gear to a old customer of mine. He's not too handy with the internet so I got the parts for him. Dr Diff comes through! Hey, can have lunch with Mopar Joe!
