Funny thing happened yesterday got a box with the same number dist that I sold Sunday, Ben (the guy) asked me if I wanted a core told him I am good on them so it shows up no idea where it came from doubt it could have gotten here in less than a day USPS! I know I did not buy it and none coming in for a rebuild in that number, Guess there is Magic in the forest after all!

it would take a lot more than what you guys have to piss me off.
I don't get offended easy...even though I have been accused of running to the mods when I had run ins with people but the mods can see and know I don't ever report for me just disagreeing with someone.

I have not been here for a long time because I have been kinda busy and it does take an effort to keep up with this thread because it is so fast moving. I also figured I wouldn't get in the way of your "guy talk" but I have no issues with it.

There are times I figure you guys are just having fun and I just don't belong in certain discussions but its no big deal.

I still lurk in here and I have no problem with anyone. Most of the time I have no idea what is going on or what the topic is but as long as you are all happy, so am I.

I seriously have not done much with my cars lately either, but I am getting ready to change that by getting back on my valiant. I have been buying parts for it actively here on fabo.

So no biggie ....good morning men :)
 
The cam had been the missing link to my slant build and I couldn't make up my mind what to do and which one to get because I don't know anything about cams..

then one day this came up and I about flipped upside down to get the correct cam I need from him. Super nice guy to deal with.

Ended up with the cam, lifters and a timing set.
kinda sad to see him give up on his slant build and go V8 but I guess it happens ...even more reason I am staying slant in my wagon and I wont change my mind ;)

I am not happy. Good customer, cant say no.
What i will say no to is the carpet he expects me to install.
Its like 3/4” thick like shag and thick foam rubber. No way.
You can keep it, i dont need it,thats it.

On a good note, i think a 318/727 is getting delivered today.
I hope. I said i would pick it up, said nope. 200 for the two.
 
Need to brush up on my sheet metal work anyway.
Bring the sheet metal brake in,bead roller and start wrecking stuff. Plasma needs exercise too.
 
I was actually productive yesterday got a few dist done, did get that hemi tach drive done, noticed a small chip on the end of the tach drive housing, prob takes 300 off of it was not happy at all with that.

nice. I'm gonna finish tearing into this new poly i think this weekend.
 
There is a decent rebuild kit on fleabay right now for 250 I think just search 318 poly

it may not need it. very little wear in the upper valve train. I'll know more when i pull the heads.
 
Hey Rainy I'm a new guy here amongst this group of _______ . You can fill in the blank....nice bunch like you said, entertaining at times just to sit back and watch.
