I bought myself some roses and kissed myself in the mirror.

When I get to my cars I will give each car a valentines kiss. Gotta love the taste of faded paint and sheet metal LOL

But that lock ring you show looks like an internal,you get those out with a screwdriver.
 
Funny how old age causes the memory to fade. Two pairs of locking needle nose pliers would work.

Looks like mine just got cancelled too.. I thought Rainy was taking me to dinner.. Turns out she thinks my chassis has oxidized to the point of losing all torsional rigidity...

I guess it'll be a cheeseburger and fries with my puppy tonight..

So, the old projection TV is history. Boxes and plywood were OK to get the new one up and going but..
Made a TV mount out of an old satellite dish.
First remove dish and cut off L&B bracket.

then cut angles, channels, struts, brackets...

hang and adjust.

Already had all but a few pieces of hardware, so this rig cost me about $5. Much stronger and more adjustable than ones I saw available to hang from above. Still need to do some cable management, but planning to paint the room soon, so will be moving things around then.

Dr. Demento? I used to plan the return trips from San Diego to home on Sundays just so I would be on KLOS turf for Dr. Demento. Drove the wife nutz! While the rugrat in the backseat and I were diggin' it :rofl:
