Stop in for a cup of coffee

probably cheaper ...don't have to buy dinner, roses, a new dress with new shoes , maybe a new necklace or ring ...

you have the right idea actually

I am going to do something that feels totally wholesome today .....but some car parts

Well, look who pops into the coffee thread... :poke:

Sounds reasonable. Torque at about 1600 RPM! Peak HP at about 2200 RPM!
no... the dyno wouldn't read low enough... thats all at 2200-2400 rpm... as a former Cummins engine truck puller with over 80 dyno runs, the peak torque on a Cummins is always between 1700-1900 with peak HP around 2100.. so add probably 10% to those numbers.

Then you have a stock 6.7 power stroke...Torque Wars: 2017 Ford Super Duty Goes Up To 925 LB-FT and 440 HP

Haven seen a 2019 cummins have you?
Yes. I worked for Cummins and left just last year remember? They've been testing it since the fall of 2016. I wrote the FSM for it as well as the parts catalog.

And if you wanna hear something even cooler... the emissions are at an all time low WITHOUT the use of an EGR system...

I will tell you, Having owned and driven all three, the NEW duramaz, 2017, the New cummins, 2017 and the 2017 Ford, with the same trailer, there is much more to pulling then just HP and torque. The GMC was the most refined but the worst puller, the dodge was worst refined and middle puller. Ford was middle in refinement and the best puller. IMO.

And there was not a lot of difference between any of them pulling wise...

but the mileage is still in the shitter on all three. 20 MPG PULLING would be a big seller!!

yeah, I'm curious to see what other changes to the truck itself Dodge/Ram makes. The drive train will be much better for sure.

I knew that was coming for years.
yeah, theyve been using it on the big P60 and P95 series engines for years

our 05 is getting 24 empty and just shy of 19 with the camper. Now, towing the 16,000 pound tractor on the 6,000 trailer and it drops to about 15.

Sometimes you get exactly what you ask for...

One job 34.JPG

And they are practically giving them away too! Just south of a Hundred Grand loaded!!!

We have a 2016 3/4 ton GMC Denali diesel pulls great. I agree bought mine used, would never pay new truck price.
