741,742,489 etc cases are all interchangeable between the housings, just the ring gear, pinion gear and in most cases the carriers are not. For example, you can't put a 489 gear set into a 741 or 742 case, nor vice versa

However, I do think the suregrip parts interchange between the 741/742 cases
 
Just installed my new front wheels and tires. New wheels are 8 inch wide 17 inch. Old wheels were 7 inch wide 17 inch. 4inch back space, 5.48 backspace. Went from a 21550R17 tire to a 22550R17 tire. Cant believe the difference in the clearance, that 8 inch back space wheel is perfect for the front of my Dart!

It's the Santa effect. I went to the EAGLES parade last week in my Santa suit.. the nurse had to beat away all the drunk young ladies trying to pick me up.
 
Ha ha ha...Now why would you go to the parade in a Santa suit? That is funny. I did look foor the guy dressed in red in the sea of green.
