I agree, and I could not go with out quoting you on that Hop's , it was a gimmieJust saying he has one, yeah some new rubber/seals and you are on the road! Should have him bring it here and throw it on the lift and just do a once over on it. That was a score!
When I was in NJ, we had 3 days to tell the insurance company. Borrowing the front plate was done but not offishushly sanctioned. Pennsy, we don't normally get to keep our plates. NJ was going in that direction but you could still do it if you were careful (or absent minded) LOLCheck your state but in Kansas, you can take the license off a car you own and put it on the new car to drive it home. You must be able to show insurance on the car you are driving though. Drive it home, park it and get the new tag.
We can transfer our plates here in Arkansas still, I can see it going away one day soonWhen I was in NJ, we had 3 days to tell the insurance company. Hell...We just put on a good tag from another car to transport....Never been caught...LOLAnything goes here in Iowa it seems. A cardboard sign in the back window with "in Transit" on it seems to work.
Man, that's ridiculous! I have had title transfer issued between counties here. Put the wrong thing on the wrong line and you have to have A Notary Public sign off on the duplicate. Arggg!I picked up that last Aerocoup up in NY, Guy dropped it off at my Dads, well what a clusterfuck that was to get a temp plate, To start off it was Black Friday, I had to register it in NY for a temp tag, then they would not accept my PA insurance had to do a two day policy with my company to set it up, the NYDMV kept losing the fax of it, ok was here 5 hours they are ready to close, have my Son and a friend running around the city (15 yo) and took amtrack up there it was hell all for a x mass present for the wife and she rapped up four months later, shame was it was a one owner car 87k on it and all the paperwork, I mean oil changes, gas, etc.....then they did not want to take it on my PA license, never do that one again!
And Mike scores again!Thank you my baaathaa !! snagged it up ! Creed Mike (my two sons) and I will be digging that
Md is the worst... by far.........NY DMV has always been the worst, even CA was better, here in PA in and out usually in a half hour.
