I wanted to save the screening on them but no way I can it would look like ***.

3 right now two keepers for parts and then this one. I actually thought it was a off brown until I pulled the bezels!

Since I used to sell mucho Filko...I would be interested in having one in my shop, for nostalgia sakes.

I have the new one it has to be painted and will lose the silkscreening, call me, have to ask a bit for it since it is a rare one with the two part windows. Actually can go on a bench or a wall not that deep.

As of right now just cleaned up. Not like I do not have other things to play with!

Have to find a meatal shear to use today to make edges for that plastic scope screen, have to do something to support the edges and the piano hinge or it will prob shatter opening it.

I have the small one I could let go to you let me google a pic around a foot square and 4 inches deep prob fit in your shop better, I just have the old old stuff in it and can just box that stuff.

There's a giant tank/armor auction every few years at Aberdeen Proving grounds and at Camp Grayling. Last one was in 2015. Usually it is ones from WW2, Korea, Vietnam era but there are a few from the late 80s/early 90s entering the market now. All perfectly legal provided you go thru the background checks, the mile high stack of paperwork and the 90 day waiting period to become a registered buyer. It's not cheap though, you're looking at half a million or better for most old tanks, newer abrams and leopards, you're looking at a million plus. Then there's the actually tax stamps and paperwork fees.

heck, you can actually buy used US fighters. There's a guy in Indianapolis that owns an F4.

My dad met a guy back n the 80's that bought a Corsair...
