Stop in for a cup of coffee

So, after putting the indoor cat outside it has started enacting its revenge. It got into the garage and pissed all over a brand new rear wheel on my Duster. Luckily, it was clear coated so it cleaned right up. Never saw the cat in there and I keep the front closed with screened panels (???) Today, I find the front Alumastar wheel on the blower car has been hosed and the the piss ate it up. So, about an hour later I have it polished out. Once again, never saw the cat in there.

If you want to know why it lost it's house privileges it was my coming home from work and the house house reeked of piss. Couldn't figure it out until I went to fix the A/C and the air intake and filter was soaked! It actually ate the white powder coat off of the louvers. Not sure why an animal would turn like this but it sure did!

And that would be why I prefer critters of the canine persuasion..

Here's a cat story for you. Buddy has a large shop behind his house. He's in the country, so has a couple three cats in the shop to keep the mice and other critters out. So late one night last week he changes the diesel oil on his truck. Goes on inside, comes out to the shop the next morning. His cats had knocked the oil catch over dumping 2 1/2 gallons of old oil on the floor. They then walked through it for most of the night and proceeded to walk all the four vehicles in the shop. Happy though, all the windows on those vehicles were all up. Not happy with the cats....yes they are still living.

Buddy’s cat hopped into the cab of my power wagon and marked his territory. I was not happy with him. Or the cat

I'll never have another tom cat. Neutered or not. The last 3 we've had marked all over everywhere. In fact, I think I'm done with pets.

Pan is on. Some brackets painted.
Some orange sprayed.
Blasting, cleaning, bolting and painting. Soon i can throw it out and start on transmission. Just remembered who may have a propeller shaft i can use if i swap in the newer 904.

Well, I redid all of the straps on the cover for the ‘66 this afternoon. It now has 5 cross connections underneath and a wrap around at the base of the windshield. I think it’s as good as I can get.

Here it is in a 40 mph wind gust...

Not a fan of covers for extended protection.
Overnite. A day here or there fine. Beyond that not so much.

I agree, just need this one to get through the rest of the Winter. I will make the car weather tight in the Spring and it will never need a cover on it again.

Dave will your insurance cover it being outside with just a cover.
I understand your situation. Just asking.

Yes it will. I checked all that before deciding if I was going to keep it here or move it to a rented storage garage where I had the GTS before we moved here. I didn’t want to to pay the $1200 for the storage garage if I didn’t need to.
