Had trouble getting off the garage floor yesterday after disassembling a rear end. I feel like I am 100 years old this morning. Right knee swelled up.

Oh yeah, all my fingers are tight too. Hey, I wash the Dakota with a pressure washer. I figure once I am done blowing the rest of the clearcoat off it'll be ready for a repaint!

So I bought this new toilet brush to clean my axle housing out. I figure I will clean the toilets with it first THEN the axle housing because the reverse order might cause a problem! LOL.

I welded a wire wheel to a long enough rod and used a drill.
I have been using aircraft paint stripper a lot, the stuff works great on baked on oil/grease/carbon

Antenae is the main thing as far as what might get damaged doing the work. Then the fish emblems. This assumes they don't use some stupid product that scratches. Driving my car - that's another issue entirely.
The wagoneer is just as bad for a machine wash due to the luggage rack and rivetsthat stickout all around from the plastic wood trim that's now gone.

I did a lot of my degreasing with mineral spirits in a masonry tub. Works pretty good and doesn't evaporate too fast. Pour most most of it in a jug for reuse and wipe the sludge out. toss the rag.
