Stop in for a cup of coffee

Hey all. Duke saw your post, great thing you did helping a vet. Hope they can get some help.
Tim if you go to Carlisle, and come down I-70, you'll be coming within a few miles of the house. Consider stopping in for a meal. I hate stopping to long when I'm on the road just want to go, go, go, and get there. Wife hates it....pull in for gas and tell her she has 10 minutes for food and potty.:D
Off down the road 100 miles to the shop checking on the 55. Better weather is coming and I hope it's close to done.
Buddy went over to Kansas City to look at a 70 GTO yesterday and ended up buying a 69 Barracuda convertible, 318, auto, B-5 blue whatever they called it.
Have a good one, be back later.

Carlisle is still a little up in the air....Will let everyone know for sure when it gets a little closer. Will put a hitch on my VW Golf so I can use my small trailer for Sun Machines, if Hoppy wants me to.

Figure 9 is good
Like a figure 8, but open ended.

and go to work...
Not for me. Off till Monday...

can't spell worth a chit this morning
'w-o-r-t-h a s-h-i-t'

oops, this isn't where I parked my car :)
OH yeh it is. And you left the keys in it. Vroom, vroom! LOL

Pretty late spring here, but at least its spring. Bluebell display is a little thin, but everything else is doin OK - just running late.
The weather fabricators say (again) that Winter is done now. Fingers crossed.

I could get them for you, deliver them to Carlisle.
Road Trip!

Good Morning

Hope that person gets help...suicide is way more prevalent than we think. You being there at the right time and a fellow vet may have saved many people a great sorrow. Usually a person considering that is not in their right mind.

same here. Unit drill dates are now being rumored to be changing. and our new CO has a ZERO makeup/split training policy in effect.

Engine is sitting on the mounts.
Bellhousing bolts in. Torque is next. Think im having a coffee.

Just got back from Spring Carlisle might have bought a sun scope for parts! Did score big time on ignition parts though and Harley had a blast also! Man saw a few people with kids and at 9 am they were just bad is it time to go yet! Parents were pretty happy I had Harley for a distraction.

Gonna go see it? Get some pictures with your car.
Great idea there. Looks like he has some mountains to the east. May be that's where it is. It would be fun to drive a half hour and be in the mountains.

I fixed a roast with potatoes, carrots, and mushrooms a couple days ago. I warmed some up for lunch. Damn it was good but I feel a nap coming real soon. LOL

That's part of the surprise. It's only about 2500' elevation if I remember right. I used to chase fur bearing creatures up there on a pretty regular basis.

My mistake :BangHead: Wikipedia says it's 4500'. The next ridge back in the Los Padres called the Hurricane Deck is usually the one that gets snow and it's really inaccessible.

I thought about heating soup for lunch. Sounds good.
You got me curious about the CAP for '69 318s.
Interesting that the '69 book page posted in that thread shows a CAP & non-CAP -same as my '68 Plymouth book.
I don't have '69 Plymouth FSM but do have the Dodge version from MM. It only lists CAP 318. And its initial timing is zero. I checked Hamtramk Library for TSBs but no corrections or additions. Anyway its hardly a definative answer, but I thought it was interesting to share with you. Don't want to post it in the original thread for the reason you mentioned...

Never been to Cali other than LAX. I need to cruise there someday. Our elevation here in Iowa averages 480 feet. Some parts of the state are pretty flat but we live in rolling hills. The prettiest part of the state is the east side with the Mississippi in the background. Lots of hills and bluffs.

I have a 70 manual. I will look here in a min.

Are sure Wikipedia is right and you are wrong? LOL. Better take a hike over there and check it out.

Very interesting Mattax, all tune up specs are "with Cleaner Air System". There are no specs without. That's the 70 Dart/Challenger FSM.
