Stop in for a cup of coffee

3 wheel bearings replaced. Road test, only needs one more bearing....
So the front bearings were stuck.
I tried every trick i knew. Hub puller, slide hammer,4lb maul, heat, air hammer and even stuck a jack under hub and beat on it some more with the weight of the vehicle balancing on the hub.
Had to come up with a new trick.
Punched out a couple studs, drilled holes to 1/2” and stuck a bolt in with a nut behind hub. Cranked bolt until it touched knuckle and went at it with the impact.held nut with wrench. Zoom!!
First one 2.5 hrs, second one 1 hr.

Howdy. Damn good forum y'all got here..
Welcome to the party, it’s a pretty good bunch of folks here and tons of knowledge to be found.

Here is the coffee shop, you get fun, silliness, borderline insanity, and irreverence to go with the knowledge base!

I grew up listening to Cheech and Chong albums. Great stuff!
I've been away from the mopar world too long. Had a duster when I got married, started a fam, went from 2 doors with a v8, to a 4-door 4-cyl. Soo, 42 years later finally got me another one. Having a blast.

Very cool!

I was a Mopar nut 30+ Years ago and got away from it...but I’m back into it now with a near twin ‘69 GTS to the ‘69 GT I owned back when we first got married.

Then and now..

The 69 GTS that very same color is my favorite.

I almost bought one a couple years ago from Classic Cars of Sarasota. Saw it on the web, when I went to pick it up,
one glance down the sides, damn near got seasick it was so wavey. I don't have the funds to put another 20-30k getting
it right. They kept my down payment, the thieves..

Oh I am another Dave, but only my best friend since childhood calls me that, everyone else calls me David.

To me David sounds too formal, and when my parents said 'David' I was in trouble for something, so just plain Dave is fine for me..
I see you live at the other end of the state.

Very few people call me David. I always introduce myself as Dave even though my business cards say David. I really don’t mind which they use, whatever makes them feel most comfortable...
