Stop in for a cup of coffee

Very good day, weather is very comfortable, as long as you remember mosquito repellant which for once I did. Had the Fury checked out, a couple things tightened, that is all it needed. Waxed it with Maguire's synthetic paste wax, and it looks good. Friends coming again for a week, on May 4, Fury is ready to be our touring car.

So yesterday at work, I challenged the head of clinical on his clinical supply plan that included an automatic 20% overage for all supplies. I told him in front of the senior staff that it just didn’t make sense and he needed to rework his contingency plan to be more realistic.

He came back today with a new plan that made it a 40% overage. :BangHead:

So I walked him through where all his assumptions were wrong and asked to do it again. This time became back with a 30% overage. :BangHead::BangHead:

I finally took over the evaluation and told him what the new plan was. He went and got confirmation from everyone in the supply chain that it made sense and would work.

The overage is now down to 7% and the cost savings is 15% across the supply chain due to the reduced number of units required...$1.3 million saved.

Pretty hound.
Mine is looking pretty scruffy now that its spring.
Hair just flying off. And of course she like to lay in the dirt, dig holes and all that great stuff in the spring...house is a mess. Cant keep up. A couple weeks of brushing and vacuuming and hope it will taper off.

I read something about an epi-pen shortage...
Seems to me as a way to over inflate the price again...

There isn’t a shortage in the US and the current limited supplies in the U.K. and Canada are expected to be resolved in the next 2 weeks. 3rd party components are the reason for the delay.

Gorgeous, a white Shepard I take it?

What's her name?
Her name is Belle... But her mom calls her Princess! She is possibly the most spoiled critter on the planet.. Never would have guessed I'd like Shepherds but she's been the best one ever..

I'm sure I'll get another.

Blame the national health care system in the U.K. and Canada and how they stock inventory. Minimal supplies at all times and any delays in manufacturing ripple through the entire system.

Rain is finally gone here. We needed it, but crap it makes for a long gloomy day. Sunny and 70's for the next few days, first car show Saturday. Since the first three have been weathered out around here I'm sure there will be a lot of cars show up.

Checking in. Coffee is just finished. I need to coax my eyes open.
