The county let the developer get away with no parking by building a park and ride across the busy main street, next door to a Home Depot. That is where overflow is supposed to park...un officially..
But now we have travel trailers un hooked living there............... blocking Delivery trucks from Home Depot! Wont be long and the city will tow everything out of there.........

On the entire property, there is only 20 street parking in total! All for guests with a pass.......We are going to revise the rules, so I was looking on input from guys here, to try to formulate something coherent.
yikes, I honestly don't know. Short of building an overflow lot, but from the sounds of it, there's no room for that.

I bet my license is long expired. I forget my call sign even. I bet its been 10-12 years since I last used it

I have popped the circuit breaker on the pole outside. They installed one for a bit more amperage. :thankyou:
I'd like to get a setup like that once I get my shop built. I only used mobiles, Ive got a pair of VX150s but no base units. I'm ontop of a hill so putting a decent antena up should boost my signal big time.

When the breaker popped, it sounded like a shotgun. Ain't nothing like keyin' up the mic and hear a small explosion outside..

Licenses are good for 10 yrs now. If your's lapsed, you have a 2 year grace period. Outside of that, gotta take the test again. Believe me it's a whole lot easier now, they did away with
the code up to general class.

I think i would have taken it back in late 1999 so it's LONG expired. Hell, I forget a lot of it now a days. Probably best to take the test and course again.

Piece of cake, can practice taking the test (multiple answers) on-line now. I know several who spent 3-4 days practicing and went to the local radio club (usually once a month exams) and passed with flying colors.
